We strive to ensure our pupils...
- are passionate, engaged and enthusiastic students.
- have the opportunity to experience a balanced and varied curriculum, allowing students to participate in a wide variety of activities covering invasion, racket, striking and fielding and athletics.
- develop a lifelong love of sports and physical exercise.
- make positive informed choices around their health, well-being and diet – inspiring them to lead an active lifestyle for life.

P.E. Curriculum Progression:

P.E. at St. Mary's:

To support our pupils in their journey to a positive relationship with movement and exercise, we have strengthened our teaching team with a specialist sports coach.  Our coach delivers lessons throughout key stage 1 and key stage 2 on all areas of the curriculum.

Competitions:

All staff receive regular progressive CPD, ensuring  they are highly skilled and knowledgeable in delivering high quality P.E.

Competition:

At St Mary's, we provide extra curricular opportunities for children to participate in competitive and inclusive tournaments with other schools. These experiences prove invaluable in showcasing the children's abilities, deepening their knowledge, skills and developing confidence.
